Lindsey Coulson has questioned the wisdom of killing off her on screen son. It’s less than a year since the pair was reunited on screen as mother and son Carol and Billie Jackson.

This week, viewers saw the scenes masterfully played out on our screens as the Jackson family suffered the devastating loss of Billie from alcohol poisoning after the he celebrated his birthday with a house party.
The actress seemed to think Devon Anderson’s character had scope for further storylines saying "Part of me thinks that writing out Devon was a bit premature. He’s very talented, and there were lots of stories they could have told about Billie."
Lindsey admitted though that the storyline had "huge shock value" and challenged her acting abilities but said she was sad to see Devon leave having worked with him since he was just six years of age.
Commenting on the filming of their final scenes together Lindsey spoke of feeling like she was losing Devon as well as her character losing her son and told of the ‘lovely relationship’ they shared.
