Stars of EastEnders and Coronation Street have teamed up for an exclusive mini-episode for BBC's Children In Need, it had been confirmed.
Residents of both Albert Square and Weatherfield will find themselves coming face-to-face with each other in the charity special. The crossover comes in the year both soaps celebrate significant anniversaries.
EastEnders cast members confirmed to be involved include: John Partridge (Christian Clarke), Laurie Brett (Jane Beale), Nina Wadia (Zainab Masood), Charlie G. Hawkins (Darren Miller) and Kylie Babbington (Jodie Gold). Stars of Coronation Street taking part are: Sue Cleaver (Eileen Grimshaw), Antony Cotton (Sean Tully), Julie Hesmondhalgh (Hayley Cropper) and Shobna Gulati (Sunita Alahan)
