Emma To Return?

It’s been nearly two years since Honey Mitchell left husband Billy and Walford behind, but actress Emma Barton told Inside Soap that she still keeps up-to-date with life in Albert Square when she can. 

A recent EastEnders storyline saw Billy Mitchell being informed of his estranged wife’s off-screen car accident. Emma told the magazine she was glad her character had not been killed-off, but that ‘if Honey had died I’d have wanted her to be given a big funeral, with sad music played at the end of the episode.’

With the door remaining open for a return in the future, Barton said, ‘If the time was right, I’d return, but it’s always difficult when you’re doing a job you love.’
