Little Bertie - Patsy’s fouth child - arrived a month early and will spend the next few weeks in hospital. But he is said to be "healthy and well".
A family friend said: "Patsy’s waters broke a few weeks ago and she was rushed to hospital. To be on the safe side she stayed in. Bertie arrived last Wednesday and the family are all over the moon."
Patsy, 38, - who plays Bianca in the BBC soap - has two other children with husband Richard Merkell and a son from a previous relationship.
